Mylo

Where do you even start with a boi like Mylo? EB still remembers the very first photo she saw of him: young, leggy, curvy, and curly. She was instantly smitten. As luck would have it, EB was headed to the National in Texas and would get to meet him in person. One of his breeders, Kay Cassella, asked if Mylo could stay with EB so they could get to know each other. Within minutes, Mylo deployed his signature move, plopping his butt squarely onto laps, and it took less than ten minutes for EB to be completely in love.

Mylo is an exceptional dog with an equally exceptional temperament. Happy, gentle, goofy, and deeply devoted to his people, he somehow finds new ways to wiggle deeper into your heart every day. In the show ring, Mylo has been nothing short of a dream. He exudes Borzoi type and floats effortlessly around the ring. His résumé includes multiple OHRBIS and OHBIS wins, and he finished as the #2 Owner-Handled Borzoi in both 2023 and 2025.

In late 2024, Mylo formed a deep and lasting partnership with his handler and best friend, Izzy Burg. Together, Izzy and Mylo were the #1 Borzoi Junior Team in 2024 and were invited to Westminster as a Juniors Team. This remarkable partnership has been rewarded with multiple group placements, 11 Hound Group wins, and two Borzoi Specialty wins. The first came at the PVBC Specialty leading up to the 2025 National Specialty under breeder judge Steven Evans. The second was earned at the PVBC Specialty at the iconic Morris and Essex show under hound specialist Michael Canalizo.

Mylo has also earned two Reserve Best in Show wins under respected judges Dan Dowling and Robert Robinson, as well as a Best in Show under Jon Cole. He finished 2025 as the #1 Male Borzoi, #2 Borzoi Breed, and #4 All Breed Borzoi, earning an invitation to Westminster 2026.

Outside the ring, Mylo loves to run and has earned his JC, along with his CGC and a few extra brain cells. We cannot wait to see what this incredible team continues to achieve.

Gus

Gus has a heart of pure gold. He lives to please, is deeply intuitive, and always seems to be trying to anticipate what comes next. He is endlessly people-oriented and thrives on connection, whether that means curling up for a cuddle, soaking up attention ringside, or charming absolutely everyone he meets. Gus is a HUGE fan of affection, Michigan garter snake patrols, treats of any kind, and he simply cannot get enough of the show ring. He approaches life with enthusiasm and joy, and when he’s especially excited, he quite literally bounces three feet into the air to express his exuberance for being alive.

Gus finished his Champion title in standout fashion by going Winners Dog at the Midwest Borzoi Specialty under respected sighthound expert Dr. Dan Dowling. He is one of only three dogs from his litter to earn such honors at a Specialty, a testament to both his quality and consistency. Gus exemplifies beautiful, athletic Borzoi type with balanced structure and effortless presence, paired with an outgoing, confident temperament that makes him a joy to live with and show.

Above all else, Gus’s primary job in life is to make people laugh. He is endlessly entertaining, deeply biddable, and genuinely wants to be involved in whatever his people are doing. He is kind, social, and welcoming to dogs and humans alike. To know Gus is truly to love him.

Gus is available for stud to the right bitch. He is DM clear by parentage, with official results forthcoming.

Louise

Louise is equal parts deeply affectionate companion and quietly independent sighthound, a spirit that is gentle, intuitive, and self possessed. She lives to please, loves sitting on the couch like a real person, curling into laps, and offering the softest, most deliberate smooches. Claire’s first Borzoi, and unmistakably the gateway drug, Louise is an absolute joy to live with and the kind of dog who leaves a permanent mark on your heart.

Her littermate sister is her constant and her balance, the perfect counterpoint to Louise’s softness. Together they are yin and yang, each grounding the other, moving through the world as a matched pair whose bond is as natural as it is inseparable.

She believes she loves to show, at least until she finds herself in the ring. Her true happiness is found being pampered on the grooming table or racing through the yard with her beloved jolly ball, light and joyful in her own world. Louise finished her championship with two majors, one at the Midwest Borzoi Specialty under sighthound expert Dr. Dan Dowling, and another that same specialty weekend under Judge Robin Hug. She was later Reserve Winners in an exceptionally competitive lineup at the Greater Twin Cities Specialty under sighthound expert Kay Sneath, then went Best of Breed over Specials for her final two singles, finishing at the Michigan Hound Show.

Her first time out as a Special, Louise was awarded Select Bitch, a fitting reflection of her quiet presence and undeniable quality. Gentle, loving, and endlessly endearing, Louise is simply a dog you never stop being grateful for. Louise is planned to be bred at the end of 2026.

Debbie

Debbie has two heart shaped beads that light up where her brain should be. She moves through the world powered entirely by love, knowing nothing else and needing nothing more. An extraordinary companion, Debbie has a rare gift for making everyone she meets feel seen, chosen, and special. She is highly biddable yet quietly independent, and more often than not, her desire to love outweighs even her strongest opinions.

Her littermate sister Louise is her true constant and her soulmate. When Debbie is not curled into your arms, she can almost always be found tucked beside Louise, the two moving through life as an inseparable pair, grounded and complete in each other’s presence.

Debbie is also an overachiever. She finished her Champion title at just 11 months old with four majors, including Winners, Best of Winners, and Opposite Sex over Specials at only 8 months of age under Judge Linda Hurlebaus. She went Best of Breed over Specials under breeder judge Amy Sorbie, then went on to win Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at The Great American Dog Show, finally finishing her championship by going Winners Bitch at the Midwest Borzoi Club Supported Entry that same weekend under Judge Dana Cline.

Endlessly loving, emotionally generous, and impossible to forget, Debbie is a dog who gives her whole heart to the world and somehow always has more to give.

LaLa

CH Sylvan Bellatrix (pedigree)

LaLa Bear! She is the sweetest, funniest, laziest, and somehow slowest fast dog there has ever been, and ever will be. EB and Claire traveled to Sylvan Borzoi in Florida to meet her, and it was love at first sight. From the very beginning, she felt meant to be, and we were beyond grateful for the opportunity to welcome this phenomenal girl into our lives.

LaLa has done us incredibly proud, earning nearly all of her points at Specialties, Supported Entries, and during Specialty Weekends. She began her show career with Chris and Patti and made an unforgettable debut by winning Best Puppy at the 2023 BCOA National Specialty under breeder judge Barb Ewing. At the 2024 BCOA National Specialty, she went Reserve Winners Bitch, continuing to prove her quality on the breed’s biggest stages.

Later that summer, LaLa finished her Champion title in unforgettable fashion. She went Reserve Winners at the Greater Twin Cities Borzoi Specialty under Judge Shirley McFadden, then finished her championship the same weekend by going Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, Best of Opposite Sex, and Owner Handled Best of Breed on Saturday at the St. Croix Valley Kennel Club under Judge Rick Martin.

Her success continued immediately as a Special. LaLa was awarded Select Bitch her very first time out at the Greater Twin Cities Borzoi Specialty under Judge Wiestawa Misterka Kluska of Poland. The following day, she went Best of Opposite Sex and Owner Handled Best of Breed at the BCOA Supported Entry under Lou Guerrero.

LaLa continues to make us proud at every turn, and we cannot wait to campaign her in the future. We look forward to breeding her in 2028 and are excited for all that lies ahead for this extraordinary girl.

Aurora

Aurora is a joy to live with and a dog we have very high hopes for. She inherited the ultimate snuggler gene from her mother and is endlessly affectionate, content to be close and share every quiet moment. Watching her move in the yard never gets old, and there are many times you cannot help but stop and take it all in.

Aurora has been shown only once, at the National PVBC Lead Up Specialty and Sweepstakes, where she won Best Puppy in Sweepstakes under Borzoi long timer Beth Coney, and at the BCOA National Specialty, where she placed in all of her classes. She comes from a long line of talented lure coursers, and we look forward to her future both in the field and the conformation ring. Our hope is to make her a Dual Champion and see how far she can go.

Aurora is co owned by Claire and breeder Jamie Bobrowski of Starswift Borzoi.

Eleanor (Ellie)

The one who started it all. Eleanor was the first Borzoi in EB’s pack. She is bred by Justine Spiers and Stewart McGraw of Justart Borzoi. Eleanor came to me as a pet, a beautiful and speedy couch potato. She immediately fit right into our lives, doing exact things our greyhound Aspen, who we had lost not too long before, had done and bringing love & comfort to our lives. A medium once told us that Eleanor allows the spirit of passed dogs move through her; we’ve seen that in action many times. Eleanor excelled at obedience, we tried some rally classes that she adored and she was exceptional at FastCAT earning her BCAT & DCAT earning a top 10 spot in 2020. She has & continues to be the beloved matriarch to our pack. She currently lives with EB’s parents Bob & Joanne in the Minneapolis area. She goes for daily walks with their neighbor and Eleanor’s favorite friend, Barb. The entire neighborhood waits to see her every day, bring her treats to enjoy. She is a special, one of a kind girl that sparked an amazing passion!
